It began as a hobby…

Hi All! Thank you for stopping by and browsing our website at PaulJulia Designs™ Online Boutique!

Here’s a little background about our business. I started my sewn accessories business in 2002 when I couldn’t find a tote bag I liked in the stores. Having learned basic sewing skills since a little girl, I decided to design and sew my own using a gorgeous Waverly print fabric! I liked it so much I decided to make them available to others. I kept improving the quality of my bags, and started selling them here at www.pauljuliadesigns.com. I also market them on eBay under the user ID: pauljulia_designs.

From handmade bags and purses… we expanded into hair accessories and more…

Time flies by so fast… and in all these years I’ve been working mostly on R & D and front-end marketing for my handmade accessories business. I’ve basically learned business from having my business :). The key to my success is to have the highest quality product and provide customers with first class service. I appreciate and respect all my customers, and my motto is to design and make only the best quality handmade bags and accessories – because this is what I would want to buy if I were a customer :).

I am not alone in this venture. My husband, Paul is the backbone of the business. He takes care of the accounting, purchasing, shipping and helps with templates, cutting and assembly. Our business is growing, and while doing so, we always have our customers in mind whenever we make something new.
